Pre & Post-Funeral Support Services
Planning a pre or post funeral gathering is overwhelming, especially when hosting at home, where there’s so much to consider that often goes unnoticed. From managing visitors and catering to preparing the space and handling logistics, it can quickly become an additional stress at an already difficult time.
I’m here to make it easier.
While funeral directors manage all aspects of the funeral itself—including taking your loved one into their care, arranging the ceremony, burial, or cremation—I specialise in personalised pre- and post-funeral events, with a particular focus on helping families navigate the complexities of hosting at home. Whether you need help preparing your home for a wake or planning a gathering after the funeral, I take care of the details so you can focus on remembering your loved one.
For those choosing a venue-based gathering, I ensure the same level of thoughtful planning, liaising with venues, caterers, and service providers to create a meaningful and stress-free event.
I offer three levels of support, tailored to your family’s needs—whether you simply need guidance, assistance with coordination, or full management of the gathering.
Post-event services, such as creating memory boxes, helping with personal belongings, or organising a family gathering after the event can also be discussed and added at a later date if required.
Funeral Event Packages
1. Essential Support (€1,750)
A good fit for you if you need help with the basics to ensure your gathering runs smoothly while arranging the funeral service yourself.
This service includes:
- One consultation to discuss your vision for the gathering.
- On-the-day coordination to ensure everything is seamless.
- Support with catering arrangements and event logistics once vendors are booked.
- Family already has a preferred undertaker, church, or priest, I step in to coordinate the gathering itself ensuring everything flows smoothly either before or after the funeral service.
2. Celebration of Life (€3,250)
A good fit for you if you want a more personalised event with bespoke details, along with additional support in liaising with the funeral home.
This services includes:
- Two consultations to plan the details of the event, ensuring it reflects your loved one’s personality and wishes.
- Full coordination of vendors and venues.
- On-the-day management of the event, so you can focus on being with family.
- Can include 2 occasions if needed, pre & post funeral.
3. Bespoke Farewell (€4,450)
A good fit for you if you want a fully customised event that reflects your loved one’s unique personality and style. This package can be fully tailored with full support in handling all logistics, including coordination with the funeral home and service providers.
This service includes:
- Unlimited consultations to plan every element of the gathering, from venue styling to personal tributes.
- Full management of all vendors, including caterers, florists, musicians, and more.
- On-the-day coordination, ensuring the event flows smoothly and all details are taken care of.
- Can include 2 occasions if needed, pre & post funeral.
Pre-Funeral House Preparation
This service is for families hosting an at-home viewing or wake before the funeral.

I help ensure that your space is ready to welcome guests with warmth and dignity, from tidying and arranging the room to organising refreshments and memory displays. I’ll be there to help manage every detail so you can be present with your loved ones.”

- House Preparation: Tidy, organise, and set up a welcoming space.

- Food and Catering: Arrange catering or provide food setup, refreshments, and cleanup.
